Have a Great Dog

We all experience common problems with our dogs. What would you like to see improve in your dog?

Does your dog ever...

Ignore your commands?
Jump all over your guests?
Pull you on the leash?
Make you feel that you can't leave her home alone?
Go to the bathroom in the house?
Bark and bark and bark some more?
Steal your food or possessions?
Bolt out of an open door?
Growl over food or toys?
Chew and destroy?
Resist handling or grooming?
Walk away when you say "Come"?

Almost all dog owners experience some of these common problems. And, many of us unwillingly tolerate them because we think “that’s just the way dogs are, we can’t change them.”
The reality is that these problems can be solved!

Whether you have a puppy or an adult dog, training is the best possible way to solve problems and build a great relationship.
A well-trained dog is more fun to share your home with and a pleasure to go out with. If you want a wonderful companion for life, don't let bad habits snowball, start training.

IS YOUR DOG ALREADY THE GREATEST?
Try teaching him some new tricks!
It’s a blast for him, for you, and for everyone he meets. Try strengthening his weakest commands. Isn’t there something you wish he did better?

YOU TALKING TO ME?
To get your dog's attention consistently, use her name only for commands and praise. If you use it when you are talking about her, or when speaking casually to her, then she will learn to ignore it.
